Pairing Great Homes with Great Puppies
GoodDog is a program that rigorously screens breeders for ethical breeding, policies, health standards, level of care and socialization as well as a wealth of other things that make their certification one of the best in the nation. Quite a few professional breeders for dog shows and championship lines don't make the cut so we proudly boast that although we're not a for profit commercial dog kennel; we still aim to meet the standards of perfection for what we ARE bringing to the world.
We are evaluated annually or every other litter (whichever comes first) And each litter is evaluated using the Volhard's Puppy Aptitude Test in order to be posted for available owners. This allows not just us to know what homes are best suited for each individual pup but also allows potential owners the transparency of each puppy's traits and strengths or weaknesses right out of the gate.
This also allows us to instill other options for owners such as a welcome home policy that welcomes any of our puppies home at any age and for any reason if their home doesn't work out due to the many reasons life can bring to the table.

Likewise owners who want a puppy through GoodDog have to meet a list of basic requirements and further get screened by us with our own individualized application process.
This program so far has been nearly foolproof for us to place great pups into great homes; however we always do welcome outside inquiries and place puppies in homes the old fashioned way too. So feel free to reach out if you're ready for your new farmhand!

The basis for great dogs that are well mannered, well bred well born and well behaved is the thorough education of the owners and breeders We aim to do everything the best we can with what we have and this includes always expanding our own knowledge and education. Good Dog has partnered with AviDog to offer breeders, hobbyists and owners the opportunity to be as educated as we can with up to date courses for breeding, training, raising, working and everything in between!
All our future homes have access to amazing training courses just like we do and we love talking to our past pups' new homes and collaborating with them to help their new pup be the best it can be however we can help.
