Patreon allows YOU to pick and choose the lessons you want without the long wait between the things you don't.
Each tier is updated twice a month with new information, advice, with a monthly 1 hour livestream Q&A .
Available Tiers such as How to make your practice more profitable which takes a look at the the organization, financial, networking and advertising side of making your dream profitable
Others such as Green thumb and the Backyard Barnyard walk you through the lighter side of gardening such as container gardening and small livestock like chickens, ducks and rabbits
The larger tiers like Bringing home the Bacon and Preserving knowledge are geared towards those seeking a deeper knowledge into things such as home processing of hogs, beef and poultry. Or preserving your garden harvest into jams, sauces and baked goods.
From time to time we'll host hands on events where you, your family, your friends or just about anyone is welcome to attend!
Some of these events are free and fun like our Kids 'N Critters day where young'uns can enjoy petting the many baby and tamer livestock, collect eggs, test their strength with straw bale tossing and more! While others are in depth, interactive lessons about all things homesteading complete with take home materials and goods!
The schedule for these can be found on our calendar but you can also subscribe to our newsletter for updates and announcements! A note on liabilities and visit forms can be found here.
A huge part of our livelihood is getting out in the world both far and near to make friends, attend annual events and help run or kick off new events help grow the community we all enjoy
We tend to be found at local farmer's markets selling produce and pantry goods. At livestock auctions with our animals. Showing off our handmade wares at craft fairs and other events related to the frugal farming/ self sustainable community.
While we're there we love to make time to meet and talk to our patrons & friends.
You can check our calendar to see where we'll be and when we'll be there!
